GV, I have a target and I have been successful setting the GTC based on those targets. Hell it it trades thru 38 I will take it there.

But to each his own.

If you consider the source of the statement I'd say it would be par for the course for someone of his ilk.

Having said that, you and I both know the statement was a feeble attempt at gaining attention.

I do most of mine at market, but if I do put a limit
order in I do GTC.., it's no problem for me to cancel
it and it gets priority over a day order.
I can also toggel my bid or ask during the day.
