Well, I see things unfolded beautifully while I was away. -g

Everybody who frequents this thread should hope that
this bounce turns into a decent rally. How many times
since we started down over a month ago have you thought
you'd like to be holding more puts? I hope they can drive
this thing just mad. It's soooo oversold. -g

hb: Just look how pretty the 5 waves are since the 25th.

Remember that wave GIF I last sent? Using my theory that
INTC-Friday was exaggerated (should be seen as 'b' of a
correction. use, say, 60min), then we have just finished
another 5 down (easy to read the waves) and are now
starting wave 4 up with the Sep 1 wave 5 yet to come.

If this is right, then we are due for another scary trip down soon. Today the COMPX tested the Apr low. Maybe we are
due to test the may lows soon. I will send you another GIF
for your critique.

Re. credit crunch - look at Tom Hicks' involvement in just the 2 deals I was talking to Luc about. $500M blown on ICGX and another $500M blown on the theater chain - both investments diving to zero. The story on the theater deal clearly indicated that it was financed by a bank consortium led by BofA. I am assuming the ICGX deal was similarly financed. All of these guys like Hicks LOVE to lever their returns.

There are going to be some pretty serious writedowns for the lenders involved. Ahhh, money heaven...
