As a market disintegrates, money tends to flow from the "tarnished" to the "untarnished". So far, Louis has walked across the waves with remarkable aplomb, courtesy of the buybacks and the accounting sleight-of-hand. But I think that this past quarter's difficulties might just prove a bit much to cover up, so IBM is one of my favourite targets. To maintain the frankness, it was also a target last quarter, but old Louis pulled it off. May be early again, (sigh) but can't afford to read those numbers next week without the comfort of some puts in the saddlebags. (g)
