Jim, exactly... you don't care if the 1Ghz is cut by 20%, assuming that at that same time, a 1.1Ghz is introduced for the old 1Ghz price... and so on...
How hard is this to understand?

Wall Street has never figured this out...
so many went to business school and "price cut" is like yelling "shark" at the beach.

Should AMD blow out earnings expectations. the Analysts will ask Jerry why they weren't guided correctly. Same as Q1.

Maybe the product of the general human tendency to rationalize new data in the light of past assumptions, especially under threat of public humiliation. However, it may also be thought of as having limited analytic tools - when all you've got is a hammer, everything starts to look like a freakin' nail. ;-)
