he might have heard what Greenspan told Richebacher a few years back...namely that if he was going to be unable to prop up the economy with massive liquidity infusions at the end of the k-wave downgrade, we'd get just that...the biggest economic downturn in modern history.

did he mention how he arrived at that conclusion?
