My first take is that Yu is the bad guy, moved to a small division. Otellini gets position of sole GM of IAG, instead of sharing it with Yu. And no, I think the EVP is a stepping stone to IAG GM with or without Otellini.

If it was the board or Barrett, who knows? I'm just glad to see them make a move, it demonstrated that they perceive a serious problem and are taking steps to correct it, you haven't really seen that before. One thing that worries me, when you get a management shuffle like this, often the next thing you see is an additional problem that the change is trying to solve.
