same thing happened to me, someone already filled in for me for 3000 shares, they better not stick me with 3,000 shares unless it doubles at the open ...

I just went to ioi SYNP

it already had the order filled in....100 shares? at 12? afraid to complete now...have they raise the allocation back to 100?

Go back and do it again. You may have IOI'ed, but it wasn't in your account.

Make sure that you're logged out of E*Trade, then go to the home page and the IPO link. Click on your Conditional Offer History and log on there. Then click on the IPO link. Only now can you be sure that you're IOIing in your own account.

This is pretty damn bad. Anyone who ends up in your account can trash your profile and cancel any pending IPOs.
These security violations, and E*Trade's refusal to admit that there's a problem and to take action, have nearly convinced me to dump their sorry ass.
