SiByte to use LDT

"Along with a standard PCI bus, the 1250 includes an LDT interface licensed from Advanced Micro Devices. With a bandwidth of up to 6.4 Gbits/s in each direction, the point-to-point bus can connect to multiple PCI bridges, MACs, ASICs or another SB-1250."

This is a network processor. I have no clue how they work or how LDT is used, but they're using it...

RDM,

My thoughts exactly. The current AMD price cuts may cause havoc at Intel. It seems the 30% or more premium they have been getting on their processors is also started eroding slowly based on the reports of declining prices of celerons in the open market.
