Thnak you LIz, I will take some time to browse your earlier posts when my jetlag wears off a bit more. Before I do, the supply chain management theme is of course not new, and I am sure I will see that in your posts. By that I mean, the issue of how to use IT to improve supply chain management goes back over the last 25 years or so with EDS et al. I also expect that there are now a range of opportunities for "open" supply chain management systems that the older EDS approach could never support. So here is my question: To what extent is this a US phenomenon and how fast would you expect it to go global? Are there any significant barriers? Again -- TIA.
