Janet Reno Investigates Applied Materials !!!

Applied Materials (AMAT:Nasdaq - news) received notification from the Department of Justice about an investigation into the company's technology licensing.

In a press release, the company said it believes its technology-licensing practices are in legal compliance and that it will cooperate fully with the investigation. The stock ended the day up $1.56, or 2.9%, to $55.75.

If Bush really is leading Gore in the polls, that's probably the REASON the market is negative.

Actually Charles Tuttâ„¢, the way I see it, anything less than a 15%-20% lead at this point in time on a candidate who is proposing THE largest government expansion in U.S. history is enough to make anyone nervous, and rightfully so.
