try out of state or train them. Most of the tort experts are economists, neuropsychologists, rehabilitation experts or engineers. A hand full of professionals dominate the expert lists. Experienced partisan experts never cause surprise. They are selected because of their biases. Universities are full of experienced people who have never been called on to testify. I daresay criminolgy departments are full of qualified hand writing experts.
