i'm not sure about you, but i know a lot of people on this thread have been paid for their own dd many times over. anyone who sais it's "time in the market, not timing the market" clearly didn't own a small cap telecom equipment company. that theory works great for the overall market, but not for MRVC. still, patience IS a virtue, and those who bought at a "bad time" can still be rewarded.... btw, QCOM is down from 200 to under 80...that doesn't mean they don't have superior technology, excellent management, etc... similarly, MRVC being down from 96 to 48 doesn't, either. brutal market for "high fliers" and you include a LOT of very high quality companies in that group.
