Chic, when did you get so gloomy?

Buy gold! Naz to 500! Dow to 1000! Depression like the 20s!

Relax... it's just the usual september/october downturn. And 401(k) money has to go somewhere... the demographics haven't changed overnight.

Besides, how can you complain about today? Naz and Dow basically flat, AMD up 1.7%...

By November, everyone will be talking about that great buying opportunity in early October.

chic, before you assume that AMD will continue to decline, you might want to check and see if it has EVER traded at less than 35 times its most recent quarterly earnings.

I sincerely doubt it, but I could be wrong. And remember, since AMD went public, TBills have traded at 15% and 5%, but we're a lot closer to 5% now.
