I just hope AMD already has the patents, or have already applied for the patents, for LDT. Otherwise Rambus may swoop in and claim it to be theirs. ;)

The number of patents a company has is meaningless. The questions should be, does the company feel that their patents are valuable? Do their patents cover their commercial products?

Comeon guys, a patent is that difficult to obtain anymore.
