Jim,

1. Not driving an SUV right now.

2. There is no practical substitute for airplane travel.

3. We don't need new oil sources, we just need to stop wasting what we have got.

4. I hope they drill in your back yard.

Jim,

What's your solution, tax gas up to $4 gallon and give indiscriminate tax credits so a few can benefit while I make up the difference in lost tax revenue?

How about :

1. One-way streets.

2. Synchronized traffic lights.

3. Wide enough freeways.

4. Good public transportation. I will be taking the train into MPF tomorrow. Unfortunately, the train only runs down one street in San Jose.
