<<Carbon dioxide levels will continue to rise because the Third World countries are incapable of controlling themselves.
Keep driving those lard-ass SUVs, you dummies! >>

Thanks, I will. You live where the snow drifts 2 feet deep? You pull a trailer with 4 tons of hay? And what do Third World countries have to do with my new Jeep?

You click in to the save the Rain Forest today? I do every day. Belong to Audubon? Nature Conservancy? I do.

>>As a result the Earth will warm in presently unimaginable ways. <<

You can't imagine it because you don't know! Water vapor by FAR is the largest contributor to the green house effect. Should we ban the oceans, the largest source of water vapor? Methane is insignificantly second, but I don't think you'll be able to stop farting.

C2, I've never seen an SUV with an ass on it, lard or otherwise.

If anyone will take the time, and trouble, to check, high temperatures are rarely breaking any records, and some that were broken in Texas this summer, were from the 1920's and 30's. When those records were set, none of the things you seem to want to tag as global warming, were not at all prevalent. This kind of swing in high temperatures, including a nominal melting of the polar ice caps, has been going on for thousands of years and is worthless as a point of contention. ~H~
