Nevertheless Clinton is the most successful president of our lifetimes. Hard to debate that. 65% approval rating now despite the Monica affair. And he's certainly not the first President to get laid in the Oval Office. Even Bush Sr. was rumored to have a mistress. But I think he met her in Europe. She worked for the Swiss Embassy. That was the rumor anyway. Democrats never went after him for it. But your Speaker of the House sure resigned fast after someone found out about his pecadillos. GOP guys gets laid too. Politicians have a lot of sexual power over women. And many take full advantage. Clinton's rightwing enemies had been trying to nail him on this for decades. They finally did. It was his achille heel, his only weakness. But they were furious not even that could bring him down. Think of all the money and time wasted on those imnpeachment hearings and the Starr Report. Tax-payers paid for it.
