Exactly X. Pools kill people but they don't have any intent. People use guns to kill people, it is the person that causes the death. Pools kill more small children then guns and they and most of those deaths are accidents. Sounds like there is more reason to regulate pools then guns...

Since people use the guns to kill people (either recklously or with murderous intent) it sounds like more of a reason to punish and control killers, rather then the gun.
Esp. when people who are determined to kill can either get guns anyway or kill in another way, and since guns can defend people against killers.
