I am not much of a trader but I have had MRVC for a fairly long time believing it to be a value optical play. I have noticed that it is usually about twice as volatile as the nasdaq so if you think nasdaq is about to turn up it should move up twice as fast. It has a current market cap of $3B vs. $20B for corvis for example. It owns 23% of Zaffire which i believe will be worth around $10B in the near future and has two spinoff IPOs coming out , one rumor has it will price on the 30th and the other should be out within 3 months. that is besides Zaffire.
