I have come to the unavoidable conclusion that "we" all live on this same planet and "we" all depend on the same resources.

Instead of hiding behind the "we", you can buy a bike and ride it to work. Some people do it.

You keep saying how strongly you feel about these issues, but all you do is talk and do the opposite of what you say.

Do you think that $20 billion dollar companies pay taxes?

What's your point? Just a quick look at the last OXY quarterly report reveals they paid $489 million in taxes on income of $1,053 million. Exxon paid $3.2 billion in taxes last year. I don't think these amounts include excise taxes, which are taxes directly collected by corporations on behalf of the government.
