Less than I worry about Bush stacking the Court with right-wing activists and dismantling civil liberties. *OK, let's stack it with left wing wackos who will lead us down the path to 100% socialism and 100% government control of our lives. No thanks. Less than I worry about a Bush tax cut into an over-heated economy blowing inflation and interests rates through the roof. This is an overheated economy????? Reagan cut taxes across the board in '80 and that was the start of the great bull market. Less than I worry about who is more concerned about paying down the national debt. You've got to be kidding, Gore's spending proposals are over 1.8 TRILLION. If we go into any kind of an extended recession, this will plunge us so far into debt. The problem with all these new "programs," once they are funded it is next to impossible to defund them. Less than I worry about about getting launched into a another GOP quadrupling of the national debt. This charge is so lame it is laughable. Congress spends the money, so both were at fault. Less than I worry what we do then when a recession does hit, and we've already gone deep into deficit. See above. Less than I worry about a technically bogus "missile defense" system triggering a MAD new arms race. You would have told the Wright Brothers it will never work, it will never work.FACT:Reagan's threat of Star Wars was responsible for the fall of Russia. A missile shield is necessary and one day will be in place. Less than I worry about $100-$400 Bills being spent on that system when it can be circumvented by two guys in a rowboat. Two guys in a rowboat can bring down a 747, do we not fly because of this? Less than I worry about having Social Security gutted by the time my generation comes to retirement. Give me an effin break. The only candidate proposing to fix SS is Bush. He wants us to take2%! and invest ourselves, and Gore says that is RISKY. What has Gore proposed, another PROGRAM run by the government, more costly and more government control. No thanks. Less than I worry the last pristine places, that should be preserved forever for citizens in generations to come to enjoy, being trashed for the quick buck. This administration has illegally grabbed more land than any other administration. Oh, it's OK because it's not your land they are taking. Less than I worry who has the best policies for all Americans, and not just the fortunate few (with the campaign cash). The one who has the best policy is the one who is proposing FREEDOM and self determination to people as opposed to the FREE LUNCH Gore is proposing. Where do you stand? FREEDOM or FREE LUNCH? Less than I worry about who is going to deal with campaign finance reform and address the corrupting influence of huge amounts of campaign cash. This is the biggest red herring. Individuals should be allowed to give any amount of money they want. If favors are granted because of this, throw them in jail. Less than I worry about Bush's manifest ignorance of his own campaign's proposals. ??? Less than I worry about the fact Bush doesn't seem to care enough about his "vision" that he can't articulate a reason to vote for him, just reasons not to vote for the other guy. See above, FREEDOM or FREE LUNCH. Less than I worry about who indeed is then responsible for the Bush campaign proposals: who's pulling the strings? ??? Less than I worry yet another Presidential campaign being wasted in political smear and not discussing the policies that will affect people's lives. **Oh sure let's just ignore the character of the individual again, look what that got us. No thanks, I don't want another Clinton. Gore can not be trusted. He lied about the Buddhist fundraiser. He made illegal fundraising calls from the White House and claimed "No controlling legal authority." What the hell is that? He has his own e-mail system at the White House that doesn't archive his e-mails. Why? What is he hiding? Gore proposes more government and more control. No thank you. bobp
