Maybe we should protect it by nationalizing our farm land like we've done with millions of acres of forest - er, I mean burnt out stump lands.

Our nation should pay attention to the loss of topsoil as something other than a cowboy riding a well-paved trail in a hurry to get to the White House.

Topsoil??? Can you say kneejerk?

I guess Bush's lies will be complete and utter lies, while you always manage to call Gore's lies twisting, embellishing, exaggerating etc.... The double standard is alive and well and living in the White House. And who needs Carville(puke) with guys like you hanging around. I really hope you wake up someday.

I thought I could hang with this thread for a while, but I just remembered why I quit the last thread where our coward/crook in chief was the main topic.

I am outa here.

Shades of Janice Shill.

Everyone have a good one.

<<Our nation should pay attention to the loss of topsoil as something other than a cowboy riding a well-paved trail in a hurry to get to the White House. No dust on George W. spurs! Still the topsoil disappears. He don't know, he don't care.
He doesn't have to.>>

No Dubya doesn't have to know topsoil. In the 50s, 60s and 70s it blew away with the wind. I remember telephone and power poles being eroded off. In the 80s minimum tillage came into place. Wider shoulders on ditches, willows being planted to create spoil banks, all state and not federal policies. Farmers going along with it as it helps them cut chemical costs.
