Just read up on Columbus.. had forgotten he was part of a Spanish expedition.

Didn't know he returned from one expedition in shackles.. good for him!

Wiz, I have lots of friends in Spain and nearly married a Spanish woman once upon a time. But, mostly I said that as a barb for the Italian folks. Columbus was an Italian, but he sailed under the Spanish flag. If the Spaniards were bragging about him, I'd go the other way. <g>

I think neither AMD nor Intel will win this war of attrition and, fundamentally, I don't like either co. However, at these prices, I might play AMD calls in long spec with a very small % of my capital. AMD is indeed beating Intel to the punch, but we can never ignore Intel's pile of cash that makes a comeback possible at any time.

At a P/E of 8.21 I definitely like AMD. If you trade based on TA though it has been in a nasty down trend and hasn't put in a clear bottom.
