<they'll have us below $10 by Friday.>

While the above may be an overstatement, I believe the most of the earnings announcements of late in which AMD has announced good or improved results has been followed by a stock price decline on the following day. Nearly all of these earning's announcements were preceded by a stock price run up in the two weeks prior.

Now this quarter we have a major stock price decline prior to what is likely a positive results announcement. It is anybody's guess whether the good news will be followed by a next-day price decline or not.

The stock price run-ups have come many weeks after the earnings announcements. I hope this is week is an exception.

Chic, if AMD earns $1/share there is no way it's going under $10 in a week, failing WWIII breaking out in the Middle East.

That said, I'm not against insurance puts.
