What else is significant about the photo on p.16?

Well, lets see. There's the Aprilia scooter that recently went into production and the Tohatsu outboard that's just being launched. Behind on the stairs is a Sea-Doo motor. You can't see much of the motor, but the lower of the three red items is a "RAVE" valve, which only Sea-Doo uses. And you can make out the fuel rail Sea-Doo uses too. And what's that out front? A GM Vortec engine with OCP fitted. I don't think it's any coincidence that everything else in the photo is confirmed production.... and it makes perfect sense for GM too, as the continued extension of the CAFE waver for trucks could end at any minute. Should he win (and it appears he will), Gore is sure to heed pressure from his daughters - the real source of his interest in the environment - and the exploding oil prices will be even more pressure to emphasize conservation. Plus, the trucks also are also likely to use their liberal emissions rules. If GM needs OCP anywhere, it's in the Vortec line first. As some of you may remember, I'm not big on coincidences. The key players are all tied together already and this is the last piece of the puzzle. Mercury+Lotus+Delphi+Saab=GM.

PS: I also don't think it's a coincidence that there is no OptiMax motor in photo. I think OE is saying they don't need to show that anymore to show credibility, they're moving on in their build out. Of course some will dismiss all this, but I'm confident it will play out this way and I'll eventually be vindicated.
