OT Scumbria - RE: "I just want traffic signals that turn green, instead of red, as you approach."

Sounds like you have bad timing. ;)

Doesn't SV have "smart" lights? Ones that have this detector in the ground a certain distance before the light that, I assume, determine if a car is waiting at the light, or are all lights just based on time?

Scumbria,

I don't have the luxury of a simple life that many others do. I divide my time up between 5 different countries on three continents, and live in the middle of the highest priced and most congested place in the western hemisphere.

You made that choice. I personally am happy for you.

I am just trying to find consistency in what you say other people should do with what you do, and I can't find it.

Do you think that you are the only person with valid reasons for your actions? Do you think other people have less valid reasons for their actions?

Your posts come across that way.

Joe

Scumbria,
RE:"I just want traffic signals that turn green, instead of red, as you approach."

Have you tried going the speed limit? Maybe some of those lights are synchronized...
