The article from April that you posted is probably the best overall article this year that explains the macro model in play between T and NTOP. To the thread, if you have not read it, read it and think in terms of the issues we have been discussing here the past month. For instance, the quote above is an endorsement of the ADIR model and why its deal with Cisco creates an instant business with a full product line and impeccable installed references. For ADIR, you just can't get off to a faster or more credible start but the analyst community has missed the big picture. The young lady from Dain Rauscher wanted to know some financial sub-minutiae in an obscure effort to provide major focus on minor issues. Meanwhile, T is going to save 10 billion in cost/expense. That is a serious number that goes right to the bottom line. To maximize this issue they need to own as much of NTOP as possible. This folks is what is known as a paradigm shift. Too bad the forest is hidden by the trees.
