I've tried talking all of my relatives out of the market, but to no avail. They are all in denial. One is out, my uncle. He is a retired neurologist that only invests in healthcare related issues. He thinks the fear of Gore is enough to stay completely out of healthcare stocks. I tried to make the case that with so many people getting old, this might be a place you want to be. His response was that if Gore and the Dems are successful getting half the stuff done that they want to get done, it will completely destroy the industry. He said it was all way over my head and I didn't have time to get down to his exact reasons. Have you tried to talk your mom out of this? I tried to talk friends and relatives out of the market, no one listened.
