I don't know how up to date this is, but sharky has Intel's desktop processor roadmap here: sharkyextreme.com

Here is something he says:

Tulatin will start at 1.26GHz, and will likely make 133MHz jumps from there. The move to a .13 micron process should give the Pentium III plenty of headroom. The move from .25 to .18 took the Pentium III from 600MHz to 1.13GHz over time. The move from .18 to .13 might someday bring the Pentium III architecture to 2GHz.

I think it may be a little optimistic to say .13 will start at 1.26 GHz. If .15 -> .18u transition should be the guide, Intel started at 550 MHz and the highest initial speed grade was 733 MHz.

So if we go by the past, the starting clock speed should be around 933, and the highest will 1.666 GHz.

He is also showing P4 to be the mainstream chip ($1,500 - $2,000) in Q1 2001. Again, a little optimistic, considering it will need dual Rambus memory.

Actuall, seeing Timna still on the roadmap means that this must be a few weeks old.
