Chic,

I wasn't talking about your poots but rather your general hysteria.....when people get hysterical and/or fearful, its usually a sign of a bottom. But that really is anecdotal evidence. I like the put/call ratio better; currently its at all time high for the year and almost as high as the ratio was last year about this time. Typically when this ratio is at a high, its a signal that we may be near a bottom.

But lets talk about you.....what is causing this high pitched hysteria? Your posts for the past month have become extremely bearish and if I didn't know better, I would think you were shorting the stock. I know the system operating the markets, the $$$ and the economy is fairly complicated and intertwined, and maybe vulnerable and antiquated in some areas but that does not mean collapse is eminent....although there are always people who would have you believe that.

Its sounds like you are trying to learn the markets and it seems you have picked up some of the basics. However, you might want to wait until you learn a bit more before coming to some of your more extremist conclusions. Skys rarely fall but there are always a ton of chicken littles running around, willing to make you think otherwise.

Have a good one!

ted

Re: I'm not an economist, and it's a little hard to follow trends among the numerous tables, but I don't see any indication of "Al's furious printing efforts" there, nor do I see any fallback in the money supply. What numbers are you looking at?
Dan,

I don't feel qualified enough to answer that question.

chic,

That's right....you don't know what the h*ll you're talking about....but that doesn't stop you from ranting as if you do.

Man, you have major cajones!!
