QCharts Speedup: Download FTX version of Pingplotter from www://www.pingplotter.com Install and go to ContinuumClient in QCom Subdirectory. Open the program by double clicking and find a list of servers used by QCOM.Using only the first 4 set of numbers (e.g. 209.143.250.12) check the average and max speed and number of hops for each server in your list. Read Pingplotter help to ensure you understand what makes for a good connection. Do this for several times over several trading days to get good average numbers. Pick the four or five best servers for your area. Make a copy of current ContinuumClient and save to some temporary subdirectory for latter access. Reinstall Qcharts. Before connecting, open ContinuumClient and after User= line add the four or five servers that worked well for you - but copy the full line of code for the server exactly as it was originally listed in the copy you saved to a temp directy (eg.Server=166.90.140.38:23100 52002 10/09/2000 19:26:54 (SNYVALE-R01). Set the UpdateServer=True line (1st line) to False. Now run QCOM. It should only go to the four or five servers that you found work well(i.e. have low ping numbers) for your area. Worked for me. Proceed at your own risk and as always: ("If it ain't broke - don't fix it").
