VeglaTM Enters Chinese Mobile Market Shenzhen, China, September 11, 2000 - September sees that carrier-class VeglaTM ZXIP10-AS Access Server enters Chinese mobile market, which preludes the construction of Chinese mobile Internet backbone. It¡¯s reported that Shenzhen Telecom will offer CDMA service in October 1, 2000. Its network, based on ZTE¡¯s 1900 CDMA solution, will offer customers mobile service in Yantian District in the first phase. The carrier began to install the CDMA network in September 12, 2000, and finished installation and test before September 25. This is the first commercial CDMA network constructed with local manufactured devices in China.
