If you read only one sided articles and refuse to even consider the opposing view, well, your opinions will be one sided as a result.

The reason Gore's trustworthiness is important on people's minds is because 8 years, people are tired of being lied to.

Joe,

Sorry, but you have no idea what I have read, and what I do and don't know about the candidates. I have discussed neither on this thread. And frankly, the reason is that I feel no need to defend my position.

But what I see in the link you posted is an attempt to discredit a man who is essentially clean. He is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, and I never said he was....but he is hardly the fallen demagogue that apparently some would like him to be.

A couple of weeks ago you were claiming that Gore did not have the intellect to understand new technology. And yet a majority of Americans don't feel that Bush is up to the job of president. Forget technology, they don't think he can put one presidential foot in front of the other. BTW I happen to agree with them.

Now my question to you: why do you support a man who definitely is not an intellectual giant when you yourself place great store on intelligence? Just curious.

PS you never commented on my catching the trick question/the trick formula (?) in your post re carbon monoxide a few weeks back. I was disappointed.
