Wouldn't the oems have already locked in most of their pricing for the Dec qtr? I thought the rules were to price ahead but if prices go down, you cancel existing orders and reprice. Isn't that what makes this such a great business?

Not withstanding PC demand and units, did you notice in SEG's CC they said SEG shipped a record 11.6 m units in Q3 ? Whether PC's or servers, or other, disk drive demand is at record levels. Unless SEG's volume displaced someone else. But I really really doubt that, since their gross margin was 21%. They couldn't be price-discounting.
