Machine guns, bazookas, 20 mm Belgian cannons? Atomic weapons? Cruise missiles? Shoulder fired SAM? The whole enchilada? No regulation at all. Any weapon owned by anyone. Anywhere. At the movies. While going to school.

C'mon. No infringement of any kind or no FURTHER infringement. If you say no further infringement, then that is a slippery slope implying that some infringement is okay. Since SOME infringement is already allowed, then we are talking about degrees of infringement.

Horses were replaced by a more convenient technology. I don't see a convenient, effective, portable technology replacing the gun to immediately and positively stop an assailant.
