So, once again you are confusing opinions and hasty assumptions with fact.

Scumbria,

Thank you for sharing your personal method of SI statistical analysis. The "cool post" indictment demonstrates clear partiality and prejudice.I am now convinced. The scientific method prevails again.

Scumbria,

I have seen numerous pro-RMBS cool posts of the day, but never seen an a bearish one.

Then you haven't been looking closely enough, because I'm getting upset that anytime there's a cool post about Rambus, it's negative.

Must be that frame-of-reference thing again. <G>

Dave

Hi Scumbria; Re: "I have seen numerous pro-RMBS cool posts of the day, but never seen an a bearish one."

If you look today, you will see that one of my bearish posts on RMBS [ #reply-14615786 ] is a cool post of the day. Also note that there is a bullish cool post of the day also included, and that it is a reply to my post. This is the typical cool post activity on this thread. The other thing they do is every now and then, include only a bullish post. (Or so I recall, but who really cares.)

When they pick my posts it seems that they choose posts that have some odd signature to them. For today's my guess is that I wrote that RDRAM won't become a mainstream memory technology until a "few quarters after never." This is just a guess.

P.S. The last time I wrote about cool posts was here: P.S. And yes, cool posts re RMBS are probably bullish a bit more often than bearish. If they do include a bear cool post, they usually include a bull reply to it. Jill has made her opinions on the whole subject well known." #reply-14548578
