I agree.. ALTR XLNX downgrade is bad and SOX breaking 750 opens new door to 604 area, that leaves us vulnerable to 1350 test ofcourse one needs to have this road map clear in mind because from these levels anything can happen..

My target is the median line at 1420 cash.(1435)
Then rethink the move.

Take a look at the daily forks for the SPX and Nasdaq.

Both These Markets:
Are near or on median lines
Near or on major Fib retraces from Oct 99-Mar/April 2000
Near and in an historically congested area.
May Gap is closed

Now it's up to ones momentum indicators and their measurements of strength/duration.

Nasdaq "M" pattern which is ominous could mean this move is short lived. Nas 3521 and then 3614 are critical.

A particular risk from today to tomorrow is YHOO earnings. If they disappoint, Wednesday will probably a day to remember. I'd avoid to keep any trading long position overnight...
