I'm all for private industry provided they do not put the almighty dollar above human and environmental health.Don't you want someone watching over what they do.........how else can we be sure the private sector has our best interests at heart. Look at Firestone, American home Products, Texaco, Johns Manville, Dow Corning.......the list goes on. Government must oversee the welfare of its citizens because private industry is sometimes overwhelmed with greed.
