Dan Re..<<You want to go on Diogenes' quest for an honest politician, be my guest, I got my doubts about W on that front.<<<

Where is I say I trust GW completely. Here is my post you replied to.

We should know better than to take any politician on his word, especially when it comes to our money. When a politician says "Don't trust me, trust yourself."; is when I will believe him. <

I said I wouldn't trust ether GW or AL when it comes to handling my money. Of course, the way my stocks are going lately, I shouldn't trust myself either. However, I feel that the stock market will change its losing ways long before the politicians will change their stripes.

I like McCain, and Feingold is practically a neighbor. I remember pretty well how honest the "reformer with results" was about McCain, when the chips were down.

If Feingold is a neighbor, you can't live too far from me.. I live north of Middleton by 5 miles. I am not sure where Feingold lives now, but I assume it is south of Middleton, towards if not in Verona. I used to, in fact play home talent baseball for verona (town pump team) 30 yrs ago. I digress, but doesn't it chafe your butt to have someone like Al take credit for Russ's and McCain work. Why doesn't Al simply take credit for what he actually did. Surely in the past 20 yrs he must have done something he can brag about.
