Be cautious with lessons "learned" in April. I'm always suspicious of things I think I've "learned". Sometimes, right when you learn them, they no longer apply.

This *IS* different than April. I've been stressing this to Allan over and over again. The *ONLY* reason it didn't LLCF in April-May was the huge volume of Clownbux that ran to the rescue.

PPT is impotent now. Without fund follow-on buying, they simply can't get it up. We are back to *real* market mechanisms, which means genuine bargain hunting and short-covering are all that you're going to see as long as fund flows remain negative.

So, look for violent, short-lived upside surges during short-covering, but don't expect jams like we saw in April. They are out of money.

The hemorrhaging in the Spoos is very telling. Money is *leaving* this market.
