excellent point Phoenix, and I see that LU is showing us
just how right you are about the big slowdown in the
older circuit switching tech -g-.

I've been hearing good things about EXTR, and I'm
a big believe in JNPR. I sold JNPR at the start of Sept and
am still waiting for it to sell off towards it's 200 dma.

I may have to just hope for 180, back at this in 1998,
DELL, CSCO, YHOO and AMZN were 4 of the very strongest stocks, they had among the strongest performance in the
prior year, and were going to have strong price performance
for the 6 or 9 months after Oct 8th 1998.

they held up very well until a few days before Oct 8th and
had a very quick blow up where they got clipped 30-40% in
a few days, that was part of the capitulation and climax
selling.

this type of late heavy selling if we see it in JNPR, NTAP,
EMC, BRCD, BRCM will hopefully clue us in to the inflection
point (the bottom)

stocks like PMCS and VRSN are showing nice signs of this
starting to happen now.

PMCS had not touched it's 200 dma in 2 years but it went
down below it today.
