I'm trying to get a feel for how investors are thinking about buying and holding and how this market and this year so far has or hasn't changed their thinking on LTB&H. Please anyone feel free to reply, but please do it by PM so as not to take up others valuable time unless of course you want others to see what you have to say.

Thank you for your time,

Greg

Re: PMCS Sierra

I was under the impression that someone on this board planned to do a Project Hunt report on this company? Does anyone have a recollection of that?

I think it would be a worthwhile project although we may find this is just an extremely well executing Prince.

Eric Jhonsa recently commented that they dominate WAN Access communications chips.

They just reported excellent growth and earnings again tonight, and I'm very pleased I was able to add yesterday at 152 following almost a 50 point drop this week. They were #1 on my watch list, so I couldn't resist. I gambled a bit on the earnings.

Tonight RadioWallStreet.com Talks featured "PMC-Sierra Earnings With Robertson Stephens Analyst Arun X. Veerappan":

I just listened. Very upbeat. Some of his comments:

>> Earnings: Tremendous! grew 32% sequentially ... strip acquisitions 30% ...

Cisco like acquisition strategy.

Going forward ... secular uptrend for telecom portion of semiconducters ... positioned nicely at core of network ... gross margins highest in industry.

They have 80+ products with good balance and good product introductions, none over 10%. Good model.

Pure play in comm IC ... One of most focused but broadest product portfolios.

Strong fundamentals (both PMCC & AMCC). Capacity constraints for both.

75% gross margins.

Strong Buy (as always).

Good way to marry growth rate of Internet with high margins of comm IC. <<

I think you hold PMCS, so thought you might be interested.
