For the first time, I don't think Gore has much of a chance to win.

I think you are reading too much in to one poll. Recently Bush was down, as much as 8% in some polls. If either canidate goes up 20% its probably over, but the polls seem to go back and forth almost at random lately.

For the first time, I don't think Gore has much of a chance to win.

The polls have been up and down too much to consider them to be valid indicator of reality. I like the one on www.voter.com It has been more consistent than others. It's a tight race, and it can go either way.
