Sheesh, Lucent is such a loser. I wonder if any of their good employees are left. It's kind of sad. Did you hear what they said? They said their optical business was not as good as they expected. My gut feel is that it's because Lucent sucks. But there is always the outside chance that optical sales in general won't be as hot as people would like. Although, even if this is the case, I think Nortel and JDSU will come out hot this quarter anyway. Bye bye, Lucent. Either way, Lucent news is going to trash Nortel and Cisco tomorrow. Just a short term thing, I'm sure, but we'll have to hold tight until 10/24 before we see a reversal.
