Bosco, The way I see it is that stocks like Cisco and Nortel have more room for upside surprises (in their respective markets) as the weaker players struggle. I think only the dominant large players (like NT, CSCO) in their respective markets will last. I have seen it with MSFT and INTEL when the PC market was booming. The Corels or Oracles would struggle while MSFT would post blowout numbers. I see the same happening here. The selloff in NT will be very short lived IMHO. With a more than one week time horizon, the stock is a bargain.

I am not concerned about NT's afterhours drops--we have seen the same thing in the past. Only makes me more bullish. I prefer to buy some call options on it but I can't afterhours. It is a no-brainer going into its earnings report as a stock holding but looking even better for a call November call option play--looking forward to it first thing in the morning. For now, trying to pick up some more stock.
