On another topic (fund liquidity), might I draw your attention to the probable cash difficulties that are likely to be showing up at two of my favourite big mutual funds, Fido and Capital.

Recall that several weeks ago I posted that these two "razor sharp" entities had brilliantly shoved the price of MU up into the nether regions, to the tune of an eventual ownership that pushed close to 25% of MU's total issuance. WOW! Taking into consideration the prices paid (into the nineties), they must be having nightmares as they watch this tulip sink into the thirties (dare I say "dirty thirties"). I think it will show up rather nicely when the clients get around to reading the fine print.
