Since your collection is bigger than my 7 gun collection, your's is an arsenal. But my stockpile of ammo may be a problem. Let's never be in the same place at the same time, okay? At least with our weapons. <g>

I think it all goes back to intent. What did you do before you bought the weapons? When did you buy them? How did you use them? If your collection was all macho military style weapons, you might get a different take from the jury than mine which includes antiques, target only weapons, hunting weapons and one Israeli .44 Mag gas-operated Combat Pistol. Ooops! How did that get in there???!!!

There was an interesting discussion on this involving set theory (Should God be replaced?) and the problem of "when does a grain of wheat become a heap". One. Two. One hundred. One Thousand. Who knows?! Maybe your collection is only a "cache". That term is popular too.

At some point the wheat becomes a heap, but it is a fuzzy set. So, sorry Lather, I have no insight. The term is relative, like so many things in life. Just don't do anything that involves the news media and the police going into your home.
