2 years ago if you put up a for sale sign on a house in my area you would have a good offer for more then the asking price within 2 weeks. Hasn't been happening for the last 6-8 months. That's really quite interesting as I thought this was a local thing.

yep, houses falling in SV... dramatically (well, 30% around here is a 400K-off sale)

I always watch RE because its connected to our ability to hire. The rentals haven't really budged yet.

I don't know if this is a permanent decline related to seasonality or a long term trend.
