When Donna McGriff
makes another pick

RMBS will be $300.00 by 8/26/2002
(RMBS was $86.44 on 8/26/2000)
WHERE DOES A 300LD GORILLA SLEEP?

Where ever it wants....Rambus puts the memory chip pedal to the metal. The company licenses an advanced interface -- called Rambus dynamic random-access memory, or RDRAM -- that accelerates the exchange of signals between a computer's memory and logic chips, alleviating a bottleneck that has hampered the development of faster PCs. RDRAM chips are used in PCs, workstations, video game consoles, and other electronic systems. Among the 30 companies that license RDRAM designs are chip makers Hitachi, NEC, and Samsung, and microprocessor companies AMD and Intel. Rambus also earns royalties, which account for nearly 20% of sales, on the sale of these manufacturers' Rambus-based products. So what's the real story? Who is going to win the cable/dsl battle. The answer.....both. RMBS has been hit, like many other techs, during the spring and summer. Look for that to end after Labor Day. Growth potential will be attract a large inflow of money and RMBS will be there to get its share. A history of positive earnings surprises will give investors the warm fuzzy feeling. The outlook is very good.....buy at these depressed prices.....worry about tax consequences next year (what a problem to have).
