Interesting statement by Deutsche Bank Edson Mitchell, board member
``I am happy to tell you that we are continuing to increase market share during this difficult period,'' he said, and
are ``well placed to improve our service to clients should our competitors falter.''

Looking for reasons to rally/reasons to BK.

Positives:

1. CSCO May lows should provide support here
2. BRCM should find support and retest the H&S neckline
3. Short-term and intermediate term oversold.
4. Put-call starting to climb; 0.82 today is approaching region where bottoms have formed this year, although you historically have a day where the ratio exceeds 1.00 to put in a bottom of any lasting significance

Negatives:

1. PMCS - another favorite - caves today (its buddy AMCC is trying *very* hard as well)
2. RBAK - WOW! support is failing there, and if it moves below 110, there is *nothing* to support it until about 60!
3. ARBA&PPRO support failing.
4. Some biotech accelerating (CRA, NGEN)
5. *** VRSN *** gonna give its trendline!!!
6. NT support failing
7. Nutz short-covering appears complete (AKAM, INKT, YHOO)
8. SUNW, ORCL bleeding badly
9. Old Economy has joined the giving; money is genuinely leaving the market; SPX has clearly given up 1400 support, which is now resistance
10. Naz has failed to find support even from its declining channel bottom and is now in an acceleration mode
11. Oil running *again*

Seems hard to make a bull case here, but my gut says that tomorrow isn't the day. We may gap down, and test the May low early, but I don't expect that to fail on the first attempt. The next time, however - well, let's just say I see Luc finally getting what he's been looking for...
